Selecting “Participants“ in the left navigation pane directs the user to a list of existing Study Participants.

Selecting “Add Participant“ opens the form to create a new Participant. Required fields are marked with '*'.

Selecting “Edit“ for an existing Participant opens the same form but with the information populated from the existing Participant.

After adding the Participant ID and selecting a Group, select “Next“ to go to the next page to create the Participant Schedule. A pop-up window will ask to confirm the changes. Select “Yes“ to continue.

Selecting “Next“ saves the Participant. They will appear on the list of Participants even when previous sections have not been completed.

Selecting a Time Field allows the option to set the Participant Schedule for Wake Time, Sleep Time, and Preferred Time for each day of the week. This can be typed in as “HH:MM“ format or by using the provided 24-hour Time Picker.

Preferred Time

Participant Preferred Time is a time indicated by the participant in which they prefer to receive an assessment.

The Participant Schedule form uses 24-hour time format. Each hour after 12:00 (12:00 pm) continues to count upward until 23:00 (11:00 pm).

Midnight is 00:00 (12:00 am).

The default time values for new participants are Wake Time 07:00 (7:00 am), Sleep Time 22:00 (10:00 pm), and Preferred Time 18:00 (6:00 pm).

When all of the times have been set for the Participant, select “Next“ to continue to the PHI page (only for Studies that collect PHI). An additional pop-up window will ask to confirm the changes. Select “Yes“ to continue.

For a Study that allows PHI Collection, other Study Settings will determine which PHI fields are collected or required. The PHI form for the Participant will have the selected fields enabled. Required Fields will be marked with '*' and will be required in order to create the Participant.

Please note the participant can be created without the Registration Code, but it will not be assigned to a specific participant without entering the code provided by the participant.
