Selecting “Participants“ in the left navigation pane directs the user to a list of existing Study Participants.

“Subject ID”, “GroupName“, and “StatusCode“ have active filters that can be used for filtering participants. This functionality is near-identical to the Filters for Groups.

Selecting “Add Participant“ opens the form to create a new Participant. Required fields are marked with '*' .

Selecting “Edit“ for an existing Participant opens the same form but with the information populated from the existing Participant.

After adding the Participant ID and selecting a Group, select “Next“ to go to the next page to create the Participant Schedule. A pop-up window will ask to confirm the changes. Select “Yes“ to continue.

It is imperative that the participant's Sleep Time is NOT set past 11:30 pm. A Sleep Time beyond 11:30 pm will interfere with the assessment schedule.

Selecting a Time Field allows the option to set the Participant Schedule for Wake Time, Sleep Time, and Preferred Time for each day of the week. This can be typed in as “HH:MM“ format or by using the provided 24-hour Time Picker.

Wake Time

Participant Wake time is a time the participant has indicated in which they usually wake up.

Sleep Time

Participant Sleep time is a time the participant has indicated in which they usually go to sleep.

Preferred Time

Participant Preferred Time is a time indicated by the participant in which they prefer to receive an assessment.

The Participant Schedule form uses a 24-hour time format. Each hour after 12:00 (12:00 pm) continues to count upward until 23:00 (11:00 pm).

Midnight is 00:00 (12:00 am).

The default time values for new participants are Wake Time 07:00 (7:00 am), Sleep Time 22:00 (10:00 pm), and Preferred Time 18:00 (6:00 pm).

When all of the times have been set for the Participant, select “Next“ to continue to the PHI page (only for Studies that collect PHI). An additional pop-up window will ask to confirm the changes. Select “Yes“ to continue.

For a Study that allows PHI Collection, other Study Settings will determine which PHI fields are collected or required. The PHI form for the Participant will have the selected fields enabled. Required Fields will be marked with '*' and will be required in order to create the Participant.

Registration Code Form - When the participant installs and opens the application, the app will generate a Registration Code that will need to be entered into the ‘Registration Code’ field as shown below. The code will be a series of letters without any special characters.

Please note the participant can be created without the Registration Code, but it will not be assigned to a specific participant without entering the code provided by the participant.

Selecting “Done“ and selecting “Yes“ saves all of the updated information for the Participant.
