Participants see a configurable countdown timer. While on this question type, participants must wait until the timer reaches 0 (zero) before proceeding to the next question, regardless if the question is required in an assessment.
This question type can be used for, but not limited to, the following:
- lead participants through breathing exercises if they are feeling anxious or troubled.
- instruct participants to do a light exercise in the allotted time.
- let participants reflect on their day or meditate during this time.

When creating a timer question, type a variable name, then select timer for the question type.

Enter a title and description the participant will see on their screen, then click “Next.”
